The game:

field the number 77314 is mentioned. In the lower left corner is the Parker
spiral.
The fold in the board is parallel to sides 2 and 4.
On the dark green centrefield of the board
is the word MONOPOL in black characters (without frame), parallel to the
first side. The back side of the gameboard is blue.
The execution of the gameboard, with the blue
treasure chest on the PRØV LYKKEN field, the ring on the LUKSUS SKATT field and
the black locomotive on the stations, is according to Parker Brothers (not
Waddingtons).
The innerbox contains but one red
plastic insert with 13 holes in total for the banker. The one sided

Publisher: Egmont Litor AS - Oslo - 1992
Dimensions of the box: 23 x 44.6 cm
The game:
Probably there is/has been a relation between Litor and Parker Brothers, but it
isn't mentioned neither on the box nor on the board. In fact it is only the
reference number that makes it assuming, but on the other hand there are even
many deviations with regard to the standard Parker Brothers game, viz.:
 | The 40 (numbered) spaces are in a circle over the green
game board. The back of the strong board is red. |
 | There are but Chance cards (36 pieces) who may be drawn on 6 PRØV
LYKKEN spaces. |
 | Instead of stations there are 4 shipping lines, viz.: N.A.L. -
B.D.S. - KOSMOS and BASTØFERGEN. |
 | Electric Company = the airline company SAS and |
 | Water Works = BRAATHENS SAFE, also an airline company. |
 | The houses have wood color, the hotels are blue. |
Although most of the streets correspond to those of the Parker Brothers game
it is just the most expensive street that is changed from Rådhusplassen into
SLOTTSPLASSEN. And therefore you finally don't place a hotel on the property but
the sole, large yellow castle! There
also is a Jail (=Fengsel) with very heavy bars, but "Jake the Jailbird"
is but a tiny rascal!
The insert in the innerbox is of black plastic. The tokens are 6
plastic cars. Both dice are red.
This game is manufactured in Holland by the Nederlandse Spellen Fabriek (NSF).
In 2000 it is still available in all Norwegian toyshops and Books and
Paper shops at the price of NOK 279,- (+ US$ 31.-).

Publisher: Parker/Hasbro Scandinavia A.S. - 1993
Dimensions of the box: 26 x 51 cm
The game:
This is a game out of the Irish works, so with the fourth side of the
gameboard on the lid, showing the collection of attributes on a green
background. The bottom side of the box shows the well-known color picture of the
laughing family.
The back of the game board is red, like the
plastic insert of the innerbox. The back of the Sjanse cards is printed
with a red ?, while the Prøv
Lykken cards are printed with the blue
treasure chest. The banknotes are not as shown on the lid but with "Monopoli®
- Monopoly® - Monopol®" in a circle aa well as the note "© 1992
Tonka Corporation". The plastic houses do have a chimney, the hotels
don't.
The price of this set amounted to Nkr 269 (= US$ 34.-) in 1997.

Publisher: Parker/Tonka Corp./Hasbro Scand.A.S.-1996
Dimensions of the box: 26.8 x 40.3 x 5.3 cm
of the double folded board: 25.2 x 25.2 cm
The game:
Remarkable of this game are the new dimensions of the box. Hasbro advises
that this is because of "standardisation" of the shapes of their sets.
So from now on the long box we till so far called STANDARD disappears.
In this new box is one red, plastic insert
containing 7 slots for the banknotes, 10 slots for the property cards and 4
trays for the other equipment. The board is folded in four, like in the
so called "small box". Its back is red,
the play side is blue green. The word
MONOPOL stays in black characters and in a frame diagonal wise over the board.
This set is made in Ireland and SO it has a picture of the laughing family on
the bottom again.
On the game board are those nice Sjanse- and Prøv Lykken cards.
They are white with the text in a frame printed in red.
The back side of the Prøv Lykken cards is blue
with a treasure chest in a yellow field;
those of the Sjanse cards is red with the ?
in a yellow field as well.
The property cards do not have rounded corners as a result of what they
look like slightly larger (dim.: 56 x 87 mm). The back side of these white cards
is printed red.
The banknotes are of the new model, viz. with a black ribbon with
"MONOPOLY with Uncle Pennybags" in the upper part of the circle and,
hardly visible, the remark "1996 Tonka Corporation" in the lower right
corner.
The 10 tokens are of pewter (without the mention "made in
China"). The green plastic houses
do have a chimney, the red hotels don't!
Both the dice are white.
This set was made in Ireland.
